Exhausts
Why should I change my exhaust system and what do the various parts do?
Up Pipe
It offers an unrestricted flow for gas feeding the turbo and its size is designed to maximise both gas speed and pressure. Its stable flow into the exhaust impeller port gice fast response and solid boost.
Downpipe
By Replacing your standard downpipe with a de-cat or high flow cat pipe you can gain approximately 7 Bhp and quicker spool up time resulting in better acceleration. Please note by removing the downpipe cat you may not pass an MOT.
Centre Pipe
Remove one of the most restrictive parts of your exhaust system with a de-cat or high flow cat centre pipe. This will allow the exhaust to flow more easily and increase exhaust note. Please note by removing the downpipe cat you may not pass an MOT.
Backbox / Rear Silencer
A Performance backbox gives approximately 2-3 Bhp over a conventional backbox along with a more prominent exhaust note and sportier looks.
Manifold
By replacing the standard with an equal length manifold you can gain additional power and torque, approximately 10 Bhp.
